Seit 20 Jahren mehr soziale Gerechtigkeit bei Kinderwunsch in Österreich
Der IVF-Fonds ist für viele Paare in Österreich eine wertvolle Unterstützung, da bei einer Kinderwunschbehandlung entsprechende Kosten anfallen, die sich nicht jeder leisten kann. Wir freuen uns daher sehr, unseren Patientinnen hier im Rahmen dieser Förderung helfen zu können, ihren Kinderwunsch zu erfüllen.Zu Beginn wurden österreichweit noch weniger als 5.000 fondsunterstützte Kinderwunschbehandlungen durchgeführt, durch den wachsenden Bedarf und der guten Leistbarkeit wurden zuletzt knapp 11.000 Paare in ganz Österreich mit Unterstützung des IVF-Fonds behandelt.Im Rahmen der IVF-Fondsförderung gibt es natürlich Kriterien die zu berücksichtigen sind, wie etwa, dass zum Zeitpunkt des Behandlungsbeginnes die Frau das 40. Lebensjahr und der Mann das 50. Lebensjahr nicht überschritten haben darf. Darüber hinaus besteht der Anspruch auf Kostentragung für Paare in Ehegemeinschaft oder eheähnlicher Lebensgemeinschaft, d.h. ein Notariatsakt ist notwendig. Insgesamt übernimmt der Fonds vier Versuche.Prof. Wilfried Feichtinger gilt als „medizinischer Vater“ des ersten österreichischen IVF-Babys, das im Jahr 1982 in Wien auf die Welt kam und weltweit eines der ersten Kinder war, das auf diese Art das Licht der Welt erblickte. Dieser besteht hauptsächlich aus pflanzlichen Proteinen wie etwa Erbens- oder Sojaproteinen. Zudem werden im besten Fall auch noch Eisen und Vitamin B12 zugefügt. Somit ist der vegane Speck der ideale Kinderwunschbooster. Gesund, einfach und schnell zubereitet.Was brauchst du:
- 1 Packung Schupfnudeln
- 1 Bund Jungzwiebel
- 4 Knoblauchzehen
- 1 Packung Veganer Speck
- 1 Kohlrabi
- geriebener Käse (nach Eurer Wahl)
- Salz und Pfeffer
- Olivenöl zum anbraten
Zubereitung
Schupfnudeln in Olivenöl kurz anbraten. Beiseite stellen. Kohlrabi, Jungzwiebel, Knoblauch würfelig schneiden und gemeinsam mit dem Speck knackig braten. Schupfnudeln unterheben, mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken und zum Schluss den geriebenen Käse darüber streuen. What does IVF mean?

- Ovulation detection
- Ultrasound and 3D-ultrasound
- Hormone balance tests (between the 2nd and 5th day of the cycle)
- Hormonal stimulation of the ovaries
- Insemination (introduction of partner’s sperm or from a sperm donor—within theframework of Austrian legal regulations—into the vagina)
- IVF (fertilization outside of the body)
- ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) - a single sperm is injected directly into theegg cell.

What preliminary findings should you bring with to your first appointment?
All diagnostical findings that have already been collected in order to avoid duplicate examinations, as well as the following basic examination results: Rubella titer, Secretion aerobic and anaerobic, chlamydia smear, PAP and hormone status of the female patient, sperm analysis including bacteriological examination of the male patient, as well as HIV and hepatitis B and C serology of both partners.Who performs the procedures?
The operations, such as punctures and transfers, are performed by our highly qualified team of doctors. Your Wunschbaby doctor and caregiver will accompany you throughout your entire treatment with us at the institute.Who guides us throughout our pregnancy?
Usually your regular specialist, but we ask that you come to us for a final ultrasound examinations three weeks after the positive pregnancy test. The pregnancy test is carried out either at home or at our institute.Is there any financial support for IVF treatment?
Yes, the IVF Fund was created by law in 1999 to provide IVF treatment and financial support to childless couples. It covers 70 percent of the costs of four IVF trials.Which criteria must be fulfilled for the IVF fonds?
Both partners must be insured with Austrian health insurance. Details for non-Austrian citizens can be obtained from our patientcare advisors. Age limit for women is 40 years and 50 years for men.The following criteria must apply for IVF:- Fallopian tubes closed on both sides, removed or non-functional
- PCO syndrome and endometriosis
- two sperm analyses at least four weeks apart, both no older than two years, confirming severe male infertility (density < 10 Mio; motility < 30% or pathological forms > 70%).
