Searching for the cause of miscarriages
Unfortunately, not every pregnancy leads to the birth of a child.
Several reasons may be responsible for repeated abortions or embryo implantation failure, despite proper development. The genetic predispositions of the parents, but primarily the genetic composition of the embryo, plays an important role in maintaining a successful pregnancy.
At the Institute, we can detect genetic risk factors that cause repeated abortions through specific genetic analysis of the patient. With the information gained from the analysis, we can initiate targeted therapies and accompanying medication to then increase the probability of a successful pregnancy. Genetic analyses of both the parents and the embryos can also significantly improve the probability of a successful pregnancy.
