Eine wesentliche Herausforderung für eine erfolgreiche Schwangerschaft ist, genetisch unauffällige Embryonen zu identifizieren. Mit steigendem Alter der Frau steigen leider auch die genetischen Auffälligkeiten der Eizellen. Mittels Präimplantationsdiagnostik (PID) kann das genetische Material der Eizelle oder des befruchteten Embryos im Rahmen einer IVF Behandlung analysiert werden und somit genetisch unauffällige Embryos für den Transfer zu selektieren.

Nach 2 Jahren des vergeblichen Wartens, waren wir im Jänner endlich an Ihre Adresse geraten. Ihr Team hat schon nach wenigen Minuten die Ursache unseres Misserfolgs erkannt.Bald darauf, im Mai, konnten wir uns dann endlich über ein Strichchen am Schwangerschaftstest freuen.

The history of the Wunschbaby Institute Feichtinger dates back to the early 1980s, when Prof. Wilfred Feichtinger began his research on fertility treatment at the Vienna General Hospital.
