Liebes Team!
Unser E ist jetzt schon 13 Monate alt und macht uns wahnsinnig viel Freude! Er ist ein sehr aktiver und fröhliche Bub, der uns natürlich auch ordentlich herausfordert. Kein tag vergeht an dem A. und ich nicht dankbar dafür sind, dass es E. gibt. Damit verbunden denken wir auch noch oft an die Zeit unseres Kinderwunsches zurück und möchten uns beim Team, das uns fast 6 Jahre begleitete, nochmals bedanken. In dieser Zeit gingen wir im Haus noch oft ein und aus und fühlten uns stets gut aufgehoben, sowie kompetent und herzliche betreut. Pestizide haben negativen Effekt auf Fruchtbarkeit
Eine kürzlich an der BOKU Wien durchgeführte Studie konnte eine Vielfalt an Pestiziden in Ostösterreich feststellen, wie der ORF berichtet. Die Studie, die im Auftrag der Organisation „Enkeltaugliches Österreich“ durchgeführt wurde, zeigt eine weite Verbreitung der Pestizide. Die Autoren warnen vor möglichen Auswirkungen auf Umwelt und Gesundheit.Besonders besorgniserregend ist hierbei der Einfluss auf die menschliche Fruchtbarkeit. Mehrere Studien konnten bereits einen negativen Einfluss von Obst und Gemüse mit höherem Pestizidanteil auf die männliche und weibliche Fruchtbarkeit nachweisen. So hatten Frauen, welche sich mit Nahrungsmitteln mit niedrigerem Pestizidgehalt ernährten (z.B. aus biologischer Landwirtschaft) eine mehr als 25% höhere Chance auf eine Schwangerschaft als Frauen, die regelmäßig mit Pestiziden belastete Nahrungsmittel zu sich nahmen.Auch bei Männern wirkten sich laut Studien höhere Pestizidbelastungen direkt auf die Samenqualität und somit die männliche Fruchtbarkeit aus. Außerdem gibt Feichtinger zu bedenken, dass etliche Spritzmittel zwar nur noch in niedriger Konzentration gespritzt werden dürfen, sich allerdings über die Jahre in der Umwelt ansammeln und nachweisbar sind.Eine französische Studie konnte feststellen, dass bei höherer Belastung durch Spritzmittel sowohl die Dauer, bis sich eine Schwangerschaft eingestellt hat deutlich erhöht war, als auch einige der Pestizide sogar in der Nabelschnur der Neugeborenen nachgewiesen werden konnten. The Journey
To us humans, the decision to have children is equated with happiness and love. For many couples, children are the living embodiment of the love that the relationship fosters, making the relationship feel complete.
However, more and more couples are proving that the fulfilment of the desire to have children is not as easy as it would appear. The continued absence of offspring can to a perpetual rise of pain and stress in couples.
The fear of being defined as “infertile”, “fruitless” or “barren” prevents many couples from seeking medical assistance.
Today, however, unwanted childlessness must no longer be accepted as “fate”. Through a series of relatively painless examinations and diagnostical test, the causes of infertility can be successfully diagnosed and treated.
Under certain circumstance, simple cycle-monitoring or intrauterine insemination (IUI) (requirement: open fallopian tubes and normal semen analysis) suffice. In other circumstances, the couple may decide to have fertilization outside of the body (IVF/ICSI).
