Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen (Die wohl freundlichste und netteste Dame an der Anmeldung die ich je bei einem Arzt erlebt habe) und auch die weitere Behandlung war sehr zufrieden stellend. Es wurde gut voraufgeklärt und die Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt. Auch bei den Folgeuntersuchungen z.b. im Ultraschall nahm sich Dr. Feichtinger immer Zeit alles zu zeigen und zu erklären.Kann eine Corona Impfung die Samenqualität beeinflussen?
Immer mehr Menschen lassen sich gegen das Coronavirus impfen. Auch schwangeren Frauen und Frauen mit Kinderwunsch wird mittlerweile eine Impfung empfohlen, da diese vor schweren COVID-Verläufen in der Schwangerschaft schützt. Auch Männern wird prinzipiell eine Coronaimpfung empfohlen, allerdings gab es bisher keine Daten inwiefern sich die Impfung auf die Samenqualität auswirken könnte. Aus Untersuchungen an Männern nach einer COVID Infektion wissen wir, dass diese teils eine starke Beeinträchtigung ihrer Samenqualität und damit ihrer Zeugungsfähigkeit hatten.Eine kürzlich erschienene Studie aus Israel gibt hinsichtlich der Sicherheit einer Impfung in Hinblick auf die männliche Zeugungsfähigkeit Entwarnung. Die Studie hat die Samenqualität an 43 Männern vor und nach einer COVID Impfung untersucht. Hierbei zeige sich kein negativer Einfluss auf die Spermien, im Gegenteil waren Parameter wie Spermiengesamtzahl und Beweglichkeit sogar etwas höher nach einer Impfung.Da sich eine COVID Infektion sehr negativ auf die männliche Zeugungsfähigkeit auswirkt, eine Coronaimpfung jedoch keinerlei negative Auswirkung hat, raten wir allen Männern mit Kinderwunsch sich impfen zu lassen.Link zur Studie:https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.04.30.21255690v1.full-text

The history of the Wunschbaby Institute Feichtinger dates back to the early 1980s, when Prof. Wilfred Feichtinger began his research on fertility treatment at the Vienna General Hospital. In 1982, the birth of Austria’s first “test-tube baby” was celebrated there, counting as one of the first children in the world to be born after receiving treatment with IVF.
