Aufgrund der angeblichen „fehlenden Erprobung der mRNA Impfstoffe“ setzten viele ihr Vertrauen in ein geläufigeres Immunisierungsverfahren, wie es beispielsweise auch bei der Hepatitis B Impfung angewendet wird. Die größte Verunsicherung bei Frauen mit Kinderwunsch entstand durch das mediale Gerücht, die mRNA basierten Impfstoffe könnten unfruchtbar machen. Hier wurde vor allem auf social media Plattformen recht populärwissenschaftlich veranschaulicht, dass es eine Ähnlichkeit eines Basenpaares des Virusspikeproteins und eines Plazentaproteins (Syncytin 1) gäbe, und gebildete Antikörper sich so auch gegen das bei der Plazentation (Einnistung) wichtigen Proteins richten und Frauen unfruchtbar machen würden. Diese beschriebene Ähnlichkeit ist jedoch im molekularbiologischen Sinn nicht gegeben. (Biology 2021, 10(3), 238; https://doi.org/10.3390/biology10030238) Trotzdem blieb Skepsis zurück, die viele schwangere Frauen, oder Frauen in ihrer Kinderwunschplanung ungeimpft wartend auf den Totimpfstoff, doch einem erhöhten Risiko aussetzt.Der Totimpfstoff ist bisher in der Schwangerschaft von der STIKO nicht empfohlen. Auch wenn es denkbar sei, dass der Totimpfstoff in absehbarer Zeit, wie auch andere Totimpfstoffe während der Schwangerschaft angewandt werden könne, halte sie ein Ausharren ganz ohne Impfschutz im Hinblick auf die Sicherheit für Mutter und Ungeborenes für riskant.Der von der STIKO und den federführenden internationalen Gesellschaften für Gynäkologie, Geburtshilfe und Reproduktionsmedizin empfohlene Impfstoff von Biontech Pfizer wurde mittlerweile millionenfach angewandt wobei die Nutzen die Risiken bei weitem überwiegen.Super tolles, aufmerksames und liebes Team!

The history of the Wunschbaby Institute Feichtinger dates back to the early 1980s, when Prof. Wilfred Feichtinger began his research on fertility treatment at the Vienna General Hospital. In 1982, the birth of Austria’s first “test-tube baby” was celebrated there, counting as one of the first children in the world to be born after receiving treatment with IVF.
